"Our pediatrician Paul Martin referred us to Dr. Garon when our 7 month old had an allergic reaction to eggs upon eating them for the first time. Obviously we were a ball of nerves. I had created a list of questions in my phone of everything and anything I could possibly imagine to ask. Well, Dr. Garon was absolutely amazing with our son. We had to have a skin test to make sure he had a true allergy and found that also PB was an allergy. Dr. Garon gave us instructions on what to do to handle these food allergies and also gave us her personal email to message her with any questions, outcomes, etc. She is extremely thorough and cautious and took the time to allow me to ask alllll my long list of questions AND THEN before leaving the room would ALWAYS ask again are there any other questions you have for me. Not once did I ever feel talked down to, rushed, or guilty for asking what I call silly questions. She recently "discharged" our now 2 year old because he has outgrown his allergy to eggs. Also, I have to say the entire staff is very patient and understanding and loving because our son was refusing to eat the eggs at his food challenge but they gave us time and he finally did it! Yay! We are actually very sad to leave Dr. Garon because she was such an amazing doctor to our son but very happy to not have to worry about his allergy issues anymore!
